Thinking about it, the end of this episode made NO sense... Clark says that he has to hurry and get to Krypton to make sure that Brainiac doesn't kill his younger self. However, logically, this statement is incorrect. Brainiac and Kara time travelled to the past to kill young Kal-El before he leaves for Earth. If he had succeeded in killing Kal-El, he would have never come to Earth and nobody on Earth would even remember his existence. Clark states that he has to get back to Krypton, or Brainiac will succeed in destroying him. Thus, we can assume that IF Clark doesn't go back to Krypton, Brainiac WILL succeed. This would mean that as soon as Fine and Kara entered the time portal, history would change and Kal-El would never reach Earth and as far as humans are concerned, he would never have even existed. However, since Kal-El is still living and breathing talking to Chloe, this must mean that Brainiac did not succeed....and the only reason for Clark to go to Krypton would be to...rescue Kara I suppose.
